my first attempt at a cheesecake

I love love love chocolate chip cookie dough from Cheesecake factory. There's about 100 recipes online that say they are copycat recipes, so I thought I'd try to make one.

Crust:
Graham cracker crumbs
crushed up chocolate chip cookies
1/2 stick butter

Filling:
3 8oz packages cream cheese
1 8oz container sour cream *1 cup
1 cup sugar
3 eggs

Chocolate chip cookie dough (I just made a 1/2 batch from the back of the chocolate chips package).

See top left pic--- I forgot to whip the cream cheese before I added the eggs- big mistake- it made the filling slightly lumpy.
Bottom pic- cooked up cookie dough minus the chips to crush & mix with the graham crackers. Then I put that mixture in the cheesecake pan and poured butter across it and baked for 8 minutes at 350° to get it ready for filling.

I poured in 1/2 the filling, then took teaspoon size dollops of the cookie dough and shoved them in the filling down to the crust. After that, I poured the rest of the filling over that and put it in the oven at 350° for 45 minutes.

Here's the finished product:

Next time:
Whip cream cheese before adding the eggs and sour cream.
Use less sour cream and add a little bit more sugar for the filling.
Cook it at a lower temp (maybe 325 ° as some recipes suggested) to hopefully prevent cracking.
