Inside at a glance:

Tender Defender Bio-Active Aloe Base GelHere's what they say about Tender Defender:
Tender Defender Bio-Active Aloe Base Gel is a revolutionary development in diaper rash care. It is a concentrated aloe-based gel that is used underneath barrier creams, ointments, or pastes. The botanicals have been selected for their outstanding and synergistic characteristics, and the formulation is gentle yet supportive of skin regeneration. It supplies vital antioxidants, omega-rich oils, and other phytonutrients to sensitive, damaged skin, helping skin to renew itself. The Travel Pack is designed to be used, tossed into a diaper bag or purse, used again, repeat! After each use, simply pinch the neck of the gel container firmly. Place it back onto its glue dot in the trifold package, and close the trifold. Voila--ready to go for the next use!
So what does this tell me?  Basically, the tender defender is an all natural cream that helps the body heal from diaper rashes by providing all kinds of good stuffs that helps break down the beastie yeasties and kills bacterias. Sounds like a winner to me! When I opened it, I expected the cream to smell like medicinal herbs. It smells very mild, gingery mixed with almost something minty. Quite the refreshing scent.

Final word on this sample? I *heart* it!

The next items are household items, fitting in with this month's eco-friendly theme.

Here's what they say about the floor cleaner:
Safely cleans all hard surface floors including hardwood, ceramic tile, natural stone, mable, laminate, cork, bamboo, vinyl, and linoleum.
The Pure & Fresh Enzymes™ in our Floors cleaner break down filmy residue and tracked in grime into its basic elements. Carbon, hydrogen and other elements readily integrate with the environment instead of polluting it. Gentle enough for hardwood yet strong enough to clean even grout. Never leaves a film or residue without rinsing. Plus enzymes completely remove odors leaving the room smelling fresh and truly clean without strong fragrances.
Okay, so a cleaning product. Whooptie doo. I am ashamed to admit it, but my husband did not marry me because I keep a clean home, it was because I can cook! Really, I will do the deep cleaning, but am just not fond of mopping everywhere. I have laminate flooring in the house, and when it rains, the dogs track prints EVERYWHERE! We've got linoleum in the kitchen that definitely has seen better days, and tile in the bathroom. So I put it to the hands and knees test in the kitchen and living room. It quickly broke down the muddy pup prints on the laminate flooring in the living room/dining room. The big test? The kitchen floors. They get grimy. sticky and take forever to break down or remove discolorations from spills. I found a gross area and gave it a quick dip of the wash rag in the hot water/soap solution and give a 6'x6' area a moderate scrubbing. I'm lazy, it wasn't a super scrub. It broke down whatever the sticky substance was, and the dirt lifted off within 20s. The areas I used the Naturally It's Clean, Floors solution on, no residue or remaining ick from the floor. No strong floral or chemical odor. And it's safe for our little crawler, no harmful chemicals.  Time to clean the rest of the floors... (Hubbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, here's something for your HONEY do list!) *heart* this product.

Earth Friendly Products Ecos Free & Clear Liquid Laundry Detergent
The next cleaning product I tried was the Ecos Free & Clear.  Here's what they say about this one:
ECOS Free & Clear has the same load yields as our regular ECOS, but does not contain any essential oils for fragrance, nor does it contain any coconut based fabric softener. ECOS Free & Clear is for people with strong sensitivities to fragrance, fabric softeners, or cellulose optical brighteners. The Ph for ECOS Free & Clear is neutral. No coloring is added. Because natural ingredients are used color and consistency may vary. ECOS Free & Clear can be used in front loaders and high efficiency wash machines. ECOS Free & Clear can be used in grey water systems and is septic system safe.
I used it in a couple loads of towels and some of my clothing. I typically get a rash from anything with dyes and some perfumes; however, no such issue with this stuff. I didn't notice any difference between this detergent and my regular brand. Not opposed to purchasing in the future, but wouldn't go out of my way to find it. Not a particularly big love, but definitely not a hate.

YAY! Beauty products for MOMMY!
Here's what they say about the StriVectin:
A highly potent, quick absorbing all-over face serum for mild to moderate age spots, sun spots and dark spots, it brightens dull skin tones and visibly diminishes spots for clearer, brighter, younger-looking skin. They say this serum slows the production of melanin and normalizes the transfer of pigmentation in the skin. Directions say to use in AM/PM after you wash your face, but before you put on moisturizer with SPF.
So, what do we say about this product? Well, once I looked on the website and investigated further, I was quite excited to give this a try out, especially since I have some splotchy discolorations from pregnancy. It adds all of 1 extra minute into my face washing routine, so it's not time consuming. It doesn't smell overpowering, and it's not sticky or thick. I hate thick sticky face creams. They gross me out. I've used the StriVectin brightening serum for about 7 weeks now, and have not noticed any lightening in any of my dark facial spots above my lip. I do have a spots on my forehead and cheeks that have reduced in darkness. I will most definitely be purchasing more in the near future, and likely trying more things from StriVectin's facial care line! Super puffy *heart* this!

This rich, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic cream for sensitive dry skin strengthens its natural protective barrier. Organic sweet almond oil gently nourishes and supports your skin natural moisture balance with rich essential fatty acids. For use as a rich day or night cream, it soothes redness and inflammation – leaving your skin soft and supple.

It does most definitely provide a barrier, and leaves the skin soft. BUT, it also has a slightly funky odor (raw almonds?) and is really thick, which makes my face feel greasy. Each time I used this facial cream, I felt like I needed to re-wash my face within a couple hours. Also, it doesn't have any built in SPF, so you still have to add sunscreen to your little face dabs to protect yourself fully from the sun. Not a huge fan, only recommend to people dry skin, if you have combo or oily skin, pass this item along to a friend.

Another pretty fantastic thing about bluum? I posted on facebook that I received the box and something inside exploded.Promptly customer service replied to my photo instructing me to email or call about the box. Guess what?! They sent me an entire new replacement box! So, GO bluum!
So overall? I have to say this box is a definite WIN. Now you, go get you bluum! ~xoxo

  1. Sounds like you got some great items. That floor cleaner, Naturally It's Clean Floors sounds like a great eco-friendly and safe product. I have wanted to try Weleda brand products for a while, thank you for this review.
